President Obama and President-elect Trump met at The White House Thursday. Trump spent the day of meetings with the Washington leaders he spent months feuding with. Meanwhile First Lady Michelle Obama gave the customary White House tour to future First Lady Melania Trump.

After, Trump blasted the media late Thursday in his most aggressive tweet yet since he was elected president, alleging that the people protesting his victory were “incited by the media.”

Sen. Elizabeth Warren said Thursday that Rep. Keith Ellison “would make a terrific” Democratic National Committee chairman, but she’s not yet ready to say the same of former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean who also formally announced his intention to run as DNC Chair (again).

Vigils and protests flared up across the country Wednesday evening as opponents of President-elect Donald Trump expressed dismay with the election results, underscoring the difficult task he faces in uniting a fractured country.

Despite Hillary Clinton and President Obama urging their backers to accept Trump’s victory and support his transition into power, thousands of demonstrators marched through the streets decrying his crude comments about women and attacks on immigrants.

Today President Obama and Trump will meet at the White House, where White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said Trump will start receiving Presidential Daily Brief (PDB), along with other intelligence material.

It’s Election Day 2016! Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton made a combined nine stops in battleground states Monday, making their final pitches to American voters and hoping to have their campaigns end on a high note.

The Democratic nominee brought out the big guns by having President Obama, first lady Michelle Obama, former President Bill Clinton, and Chelsea Clinton join her in Philadelphia. Bruce Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi also both performed ahead of Clinton’s speech.

Meanwhile, Trump attended five rallies in five states over twelve hours. The Republican nominee began his day in Florida and North Carolina, before heading north to Pennsylvania and joining his running mate, Mike Pence, for an event in New Hampshire. Trump was also joined by his children there.
