Press Secretary Robert Gibbs says some people have disagreements with some of Obama’s decisions but that those concerns were not because of his race.</p>
<p>•	ACORN, an advocacy group under fire after some employees were caught on camera appearing to advise a couple posing as a prostitute and pimp to lie about the woman’s profession to get housing help, said Wednesday <a href="http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/32880434/ns/politics-more_politics/" target="_blank">it is ordering an independent investigation and is refusing new admissions into its service programs</a>.</p>

<p>•	Leaders of the world&#8217;s largest economies agreed yesterday to <a href="http://www.cnn.com/2009/WORLD/europe/04/02/g20/index.html" target="_blank">a package worth more than $1 trillion to tackle the global economic crisis</a>.  President Obama called the deal a &#8220;turning point in our pursuit of global economic recovery.&#8221;  The plan calls for reform of the international banking system and the injection of more than $1 trillion into the world financial system.</p>
<p>•	<a href="http://www.cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/04/03/us.house.senate.budget.passes/index.html" target="_blank">The Senate passed a $3.53 trillion version of the federal budget for fiscal year 2010</a> late last night in a party-line vote, ending several weeks of acrimonious partisan debate.  Earlier in the evening, the House passed its own version of the spending plan &#8211; a $3.55 trillion budget.</p>
<p>•	Impeached former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich, who was arrested in December on charges of conspiracy and fraud, was<a href="http://www.cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/04/02/illinois.blagojevich/index.html" target="_blank"> indicted yesterday on 16 felony counts by a federal grand jury</a>.  The 19-count indictment charges Blagojevich and some of his closest aides with a wide-ranging &#8220;scheme to deprive the people of Illinois of honest government.&#8221;  Blagojevich maintains he is innocent.</p>
