The Rude Pundit tells Stephanie Miller about his recent article “The Mentally Ill Appear at the Gun Hearing,” and they talk about the National Rifle Association’s sanity. Mama says, “The NRA doesn’t seem sane to anybody at this point.” Rude is pretty sure that the NRA was initially in favor of background checks only because the technology to do so wasn’t there yet. He also points to the similarities between the NRA and “diagnosable crazy” behavior.
