Major George Hood from the Salvation Army tells Stephanie Miller that we don’t need to look any further than the organization’s mission for its stance on gay rights. Hood says, “The very mission (of the Salvation Army) calls for meeting the needs of humans without discrimination.” Hood adds that the organization does not give to anti-gay causes or discriminate against hiring gays.
