Stephanie Miller gets a chance to catch up with Minnesota Vikings punter Chris Kluwe in the wake of the Minnesota Marriage Amendment being defeated. Kluwe says, “It’s great to see people finally realizing this is about being an American citizen and living in the same country and hopefully treating each other fairly.” Stephanie praises Kluwe for standing up for what’s right in this “very macho sport.” Kluwe and Stephanie also talk about Senator-elect Tammy Baldwin and the fact that her sexuality was not even brought up in the campaign on either side. Kluwe says, “There is a lot of work to be done … and hopefully the Supreme Court will turn on to the fact that discrimination should be illegal.” He says that people should be who they are.
