In response to the star of the show today Barb McCue of Volney NY. I am a bit surprised that she could not tell that I was gay when I stopped in for my Fishing License last spring. I never knew that she had such wonderful views on gay people. I believe within a few weeks i will take the gay welcoming party over for a visit and maybe I can even get a few of my friends to apply for their marriage certificate. Should I bring muffins too? I really enjoyed the show today !!!!!

A Gay in Volney !!!!!

Let Jim get his plug in, Hal! Stop bogarting the show, man!

Bye, gang! Hasty bananas!

The Bachmanns know a thing or two about "Yay" marriage.

Bye all.

What? Making fun of Republicans isn't making fun of people who are different?

#10 me, Just for fun, MST3K's Junior Rodeo Daredevils at 3:46 minutes:

"And the crowd goes wild."
"Yay."

John Wayne in Greatest Story Ever Told . . .
"Dis truly was the sunna Gawd"

The Oscar for True Grit was for sentimental reasons.

What to do when confronting someone who doesn't clean up after their dog:

Flag in the dog poo

Although with Fred and Max, it's a waste of time to leave a note - people could sculpt sand castles outta those things....

#11: "One term president" will sound pretty funny the day Obama wins a second term.

Interesting call from Canada earlier: is it time for the Steph Show to branch out into Canadian politics? They won't be much help defeating the Republicans, and they take their politics seriously so there's not much comedy gold to be mined either.

Does Bachman sing duets with Laura Ingraham? Yaay...

The "one term president" chant now replaces Palin's "lamestream media" in my "if I hear it one more time I'll scream" collection.

Good morning, livebloggers!

Laughing so hard I have tears streaming down my face this morning :-)

Bachman's dispirited "Yay" sounds like the MST3K gang's laconic Midwestern refrain: "And the crowd goes wild. Yay."

Judge Prosser's explanations for his behavior sound no different than bad spousal abuse stories - while the man is beating his wife, he's shouting "why do you make me do this to you!"

Hal accidentally choked a girl backstage at the Sexy Liberal Show.

As a song, "Boogie Woogie Hedgehog" fails to achieve the subtlety and lyrical scope of previous œuvres such as "Baby Monkey" and "Chimpanzee Riding on a Segway"...

Before my 88-year old mother passed, I asked her if she had any problem with two men or two women marrying each other. Her reply, "No, none at all." Not always generational.

"I don't know anyone like that in this town" - then one day a gay pride parade comes rockin' down main street.

The only explanation I see for the President's SSM position is that the the WH's "internal polling" is telling them that fence-riding on this issue is best. Perhaps support for SSM in swing states is low, and we already know Rove's $$ is targeting those states. I'm not saying it's politically courageous, but it's the only reason I can see for the hesitancy.

Happy Hump Day, y'all.

The Turning Point ballerina Leslie Browne and Latina actress Maria Conchita Alonso are both 54, Visual effects wizard Ray Harryhausen is 91, Kid Stays in the Picture 7 times married producer Robert Evans is 81, edgy actor and reality show star Gary Busey is 67, neurotic actor and comic Richard Lewis is 64, Love Boat's Gopher and onetime candidate Fred Grandy is 63, and talented singer and actress (The Office) Melora Hardin is 44. Happy Birthdays Cancers!

She also started a new song going in my head:
Screaming baby!
Screaming baby!
Facing backwards on a plane,
Screaming baby!

Morning all.

Steph's giving me ideas as usual this morning, like calling in sick "with slapstick injuries"! Wish I actually had a job, so I could try that.
