As with the rumor that Obama is weakening on a public option there is a rumor being spread that Kerry is “pushing for triggers” That undocumented story sounds like a lie. I live in Mass and call Kerry, Kennedy and Tierney’s offices every couple of weeks because the situation is fluid. All three are ALWAYS for a robust public option. Lots of rumor noise going on to divide public option supporters. Please dont take the bait.

I like someone for president who can see a problem coming long before the rest of us. I like them to see the BIG issues and come up with real solutions.

That was Al Gore, for sure. I thought John Edwards had that quality.

Sometimes I THINK Obama has it. Sometimes I doubt him.

Yeah, another Post Office fan! How old school of us!

I get Netflix and you can exactly track the mail. I get two to three DVDs a week, for two years.

ONE — yes, only ONE, has been late. By one day! (And it’s not even 100% that’s the Post Office’s fault.)

I doubt FedEx or UPS could beat that and they would charge a fortune.

Al Gore was my first-choice for president — that hardly ever happens.

But John Kerry wasn’t even in my top-ten. A decent guy, I’m sure, and WAY better than Bush. But not my kind of president.

#468 I agree about the post office. You know how when you get a bill, they provide an envelope? Where the stamp goes, it used to say something like “post office will not deliver without postage”. Now a lot of them say “save time and money, pay online.”
I prefer to pay my bills by mail so that when I need to send a package, the post office will still be in business.

They damn-near HAVE privatized the military — there are more mercenaries in IRaq than US soldiers.

I believe it was In Living Color that had a great “Black or White” parody. They had someone as Michael Jackson smashing up the taxi cab and grabbing himself, then the cops came. Michael Jackson said “Tell me officer, am I black or white?” The officer replied with “You’re under arrest.” So Michael said “Oh, I guess I am black.”
