I’ll be here about an hour, I’m getting HDTV installed this morning, after waiting about six months with the 42″ TV.. So, I suspect I’ll have a whole new training curve for a remote control, that’s the part I dread. At my age, having to learn/amend anything is starting to be a hassle.

If there is an HONEST calculation of the true cost of health care in this country, it becomes abundantly clear that it is among the most expensive in the world. Of course, the big HMOs, insurance companies, and pharmaceuticals all fight like hell for the status quo – THEY are cleaning up!
I say if the country cannot have single payer, then Congress must lose its single payer plans, and fend for themselves in the insurance market, like ordinary citizens.. Well, most of them are multi-millionaires (one of the problems), so they’ll be able to afford some insurance, but it’s no wonder the bastards don’t care about health insurance for the masses – they’ve got THEIRS!
