416. I think it will be brought up again, but maybe not because it could be a wash for both parties, politically.

k to the g,

As a woman ten minutes ahead of her time, I would have expected Steph to spend more time on the Harman "scandal."

Even though I think it stinks, it's actually pretty interesting and I think the Right Wing media are going to try very hard to frame the debate as a Democrat-corruption scandal rather than a NSA spying scandal.

HAPPY EARTH DAY

408. I only heard it mentioned once, then she moved on. Bye all, and I'll get the leftover donuts and muffins (and the crumbs with my sham-wow) HAPPY EARTH DAY! :-D

mel7190,

Well, I'm glad you see an independent streak in the GOP. As for me, I was searching long and hard for conservative voices when Bush was doing all his major damage. I just did not hear very many.

As for speaking out against Palin -- that doesn't impress me much. Some of it was petty jealousy of her line-jumping to the top of the GOP.

I'll leave you all with this

Great show!

Have a wonderful rest of the day!

Starting next week, all conservatives who are against abortion rights AND contraception get their own unwanted child - FREE!

Off the lunch. bye, all.

I tuned in late today -- did Steph mention the Jane Harman today?

It's a pretty interesting "scandal" that I suspect Fox will be hammering on.

1) It makes a Democrat look bat BUT

2) It also proves that the NSA was spying on Democratic leadership.

399 I think at the beginning that Bush talked the talk and I do believe that they are very afraid to speak out against their own party. I'm not sure if they're afraid of being called a liberal, socialist, fascist commie or just of retaliation which we all know the GOP is more than capable of. This past election, there were a number of prominent conservatives who said things against Palin in particular. Maybe it's a sign that they are against their party continuing this trend of STUPID!

That question was asked because Perez Hilton is an assclown.

Miss California should run for Miss Ignorant U.S.A.

Steph saw the first production of Oedipus Rex

please don't play that again ... uncle... uncle.. UNCLE!!!

They could have tortured Khalid Shiek Muhammed by having an amatuer wax him. No water boarding needed with a guy that hairy.

395 - Careful! You gettin me all hot ... We can't be doin' this all day ...

"John Dean" -- I mean

That's the theory -- but which of the old-party conservatives spoke out against Bush when he was screwing the country?

John Dead did. (Probably you could think of a few others.)

But most old-school conservative just cheered Bush on like the rest of the GOP.

If Arnold lost to a woman he'd never live it down.

"The Cheneys, down to the O'Reillys and Hannitys and Limbaughs, effectively hate the principles upon which we were founded. They are among the greatest cowards in all of American history. I applaud an American President who's tough enough...to smile."

lol

would it be funny if the republicans kept Al out of office for 6 years - and he ran again and won big this time against the republican ... lol

375. Sham-Wow was mine. Weird.

BLUCHER!!!

I think a lot of conservatives - particularly old school conservatives, don't agree at all with the current Republican party and would HATE Bush.

I'm NOT out on a limb here and I think Mama's conservative brother also knew his dad -- and he'd claim that his dad would agree with HIM these days.

I worked at a restaurant years back that catered the Seinfeld cast 1 year reunion@ Andy Ackerman's house- just the 4 cast members & their mates w/ Andy & his wife- funny, funny group

Steph saw the first production of "Romeo & Juliet".

I'm sure Susan's brows will be taken care of ... the reason she was never discovered before was because the norms of how one should look kept us from enjoying that wonderful voice for decades now.

Hey! Anti-Pirate Astroglide Cannon was my nick in college!
Coinkydink?

Linus and Lucy

Cindy,

You might be right.

See, that's the convenience of projecting opinions on departed loved-ones.

(Pets can serve the same useful purpose. They totally agree with you on politics.)

I suspect that Steph's dad would still be a conservative and disagree with Steph on more than she would like.

Barry Goldwater did moderate on some narrow issues in his old age but he remained a solid conservative. (I'm not expert on him, but this is my memory.)

Congrats on your product! Might need a giant SHAM-WOW to clean up after!

liberal hussein -- I forgot about that

I'd give it to Julia Louis-Dreyfuss. Whatever she wants, I'd give to her.

That wasn't a policy difference, that was jealousy. Gingrich couldn't get bjs from even the ugliest intern.

Michael Richards will be running around the set calling everybody...N****R

no Cosmo?

I love the fact that Obama has been controlling the debate on the right this whole time- that is, they go from subject to subject based on what he just did, then he's already on to the next thing as they try to play catch up

I'm out on a limb here but I think Mama knows her pops better than many of us ever will.

Ciao!

Bye capt, have a great day!

367. THANK-YOU shaf. Good stuff.

Old Christine IS the boss...

Jason is a good guy poltically - I've heard him a few times - always good!

Now I'm outie (gone surfing!)

See ya all on the morrow!

Ron, I think on this he would agree

The holocaust was just a policy difference.

If Steph's dad was still alive, I kind of doubt that he'd agree with her as much as she fantasizes he will.
