Stephanie Miller will be C-SPAN‘s guest on their hourlong program “Q&A” this Sunday night!  Be sure to tune in to C-SPAN this Sunday night at 8pm Eastern to see what she has to say!

XM Satellite Radio is now carrying all three hours of The Stephanie Miller Show live from 9am to Noon Eastern!!!  Now, even if your city or town doesn’t have a Steph affiliate, you can hear her wherever you go.  Be sure to check it out on America Left XM167!

Angela Shelton and Frances Callier, otherwise known as Frangela, join us in studio at 8:30am Pacific for another edition of “Fridays with Frangela!!!”

President Barack Obama said last night that “the scale and the scope” of his economic plan is right, turning up the heat on critics he said were hawking “phony arguments” and “false theories of the past” to chip away at the bill’s progress. He said that “tired arguments” and “false theories of the past” helped to create the economic crisis.

The Senate wrapped up last night after hours of sometimes acrimonious work without voting on a massive economic recovery plan championed by President Obama. The Senate had worked its way through dozens of proposed amendments to the plan when Majority Leader Harry Reid – who earlier had vowed to work “through the night” – called it quits shortly after 8:30pm Eastern.

• The Obama administration took its first steps into the politically delicate world of church-state relations yesterday, issuing an executive order establishing a new review process to encourage nondiscriminatory hiring practices among religious groups accepting federal money. The order is designed to strengthen the constitutional grounding of Bush’s controversial Office of Faith Based Initiatives.

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the only woman on the Supreme Court, had surgery yesterday for early stage pancreatic cancer. She is expected to remain in the hospital for 7 to 10 days.

I'm watching Steph on CSPAN right now (see? I told you)... Go mama!

I assume everyone's gone, but I was browsing through today's comments and felt the need to "correct" an earlier post for the record.

In Untruthy McTrollface's 8:20 comment, he/she/it follows an unimportant opinion of the show with a paragraph headed "Radio Insider". While it might look to the casual observer that this collection of sentences could contain a fact or two, it is actually 100% b.s., pulled directly from some excretory orifice. As someone whom Steph has referred to as "way too interested in my career," I can assure everybody that each and every statement is demonstrably false.

That is all...

I just had the longest hour at the Honda dealership waiting to get my oil changed while I sat in the waiting room with a bunch of ancient rethugs watching fox news! I was writhing and glaring at these republican tools secretly wishing I could have some superhero powers to change the channel.

Damn.

I missed the entire show due to smoke condition at my borg.

And I wanted to share the coolest web site in the history of web sites.

Wise. I don't post anything on the internet that has a Pakistani's face.

You can NEVER know how that might hurt a person to be associated with an American.

Shoot, I didn't get this in before the show ended. I made a short film summing up 8 years under Bush:

Enjoy!

See you next week, all!

She'll dismiss you (if she reads her email at all!) by saying that she thinks Sanchez shouldn't have been such a slut and got pregnant in the first place.

(OK, she won't say "slut" but that's what she'll mean!)

BYE EVERYBAHHHHHDEEE!

I guess that is all there is to a fire. Or maybe, all there is to the liveblog for today.

You kids are so awesome! Have a great weekend and I'll see ya back here on Mundi.

Hi, Cindi! Thanks for the link. I'll check it out.

You got some great pictures. When I was there, I tended not to take very many pictures for various reasons, even though I'm a bit of a camera nut.

Over to the chat room

735...Amy...DING! That's correct!

Another post that no one saw - I heard Mona say that Linda Sanchez shouldn't have a baby. I'm going to have to email Mona now and ask why she's against abortion, unless the parent is a Democrat. Hope her email box has been repaired.

"Daddy losing the election in a landslide". - Stephanie Miller

"No, dear. It's, 'daddy's losing the election in a landslide". Steph's mom

Gramergency!

Gammer-Time, break it down (with sentence diagramming)!

Obama asks, "Are these folks serious?"

answer:

No... they're crazy-rediculous mental baffoons contradicting reality out their hind end. (it's alike a tard circus over there.)

As tempting and even necessary as it is to make fun of Caribou Barbie, I worry about the "Carrie" (as in Stephen King) effect-- taking it so far that she becomes hellbent on avenging herself upon the world. In the words of Bob Dylan, when you got nothin', you got nothin' to lose.

#731 Correct, the first time.

Sarah promised "I'll bring'em back to 'ya" to Katie.

#731 Those "facts" are like Bristol and Levi's wedding - not happening since Palin lost the election and no one cares.

"Knock knock"

Who's there?

Sarah Palin.

Sarah Palin, who?

THANK GOD, WE'RE FORGETTING ABOUT THAT CRAZY WOMAN!

"Then one time a band camp, I shoved Todd's flute into my vagina, you betcha." - Sarah Palin

Hey, has Caribou Barbie "brought them to" Katie yet? Or was it Charlie?

Michael Phelps has always talked liked that. I think he has a bit of a speech impediment.

Oh, Good. My Avatar finally changed to the smurf.

A core issue of our economy is that the "demand" side of capitalism has stalled.

So Obama is TOTALLY correct to have the government buy stuff, and bolster the demand side of our economy before we go into an irreversible death spiral.

But, they should be smart about it.

Buying American-made electric cars and hybrids is smart since it will bring prices down for the rest of us, when we're working again.

RON are you here???!!!!!

Michael Phelps should totally have said "It was totally awesome kind, and your only problem with it is jealousy!"

hi did anyone mention corporate speak? pro active

#719 Yes, very calm and composed. A true professional.

This is Capt. Oveur. We'll be landing in Stephanie Miller's waterfall.

DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDE...he sounds so damn stoned.

Ron "McLovin" Luce, I love Christians who can use their beliefs for good!!

If you listen to the air traffic control tapes, they were all extremely calm and professional. Well done.

Is there a 24-pack of Obama Whoop-Ass available? How about an Obama Whoop-Ass keg?

#674 Thanks, George, I even forgive you for tarnishing my moment of Double Spartan glory!

well IF I could post the primer (it goes into moderation) .. you'll find out a whole lot of stuff
